TBWCYL Day 262 - Log On

Today I was directed to go to www.datatranscorp.org/html003.02. It was nothing. I don't know if it was something at some point but it isn't anything any longer. I was kind of disappointed. All of the tasks that involve the website for The Book haven't been active but this one was a different site and I thought I might get a real one.

Oh Well,

That is all,

Newt

How disappointing. :(

A test of your loyalty. The spyware they have placed on your computer will tell them that you complied. You are safe – for now.

Really? That link worked for me.

But it did say that only the coolest, most beautiful people would be able to access it.

; )

Well, that wasn't very nice S&C. My feelings are now hurt. Boo Hoo.

Consider it a holiday.

Or, having read Simon's comment, consider it a dubious and sinister exercise in control and manipulation.

Actually, that pretty much sums up the whole book.

Oh Trinity, now I feel terrible. Please don't be hurt! Didn't you see the wink? Of course I was joking!!!

I never thought I would see the day when S&C hurt someone's feelings. But then again, I have witnessed a lot of weird shit on this blog that I never thought I would see... Should I send more chocolate or frog paraphernalia to soothe the pain from this disappointing task, Twinity?

Teacup... I feel soooo bad! It was just a dumb joke, please tell your twin that I didn't mean it!

That link sounds like something out of Terminator. Maybe that's why it's broken now?

Trinity said...

S&C - Please don't add to the sibling rivalry that my twin and I already experience. We have enough to deal with now that we have discovered that we are related.

I saw your wink.

S&C - it's OK. My twin has a rather well-endowed ego, and I'm sure it can take a friendly beating now and then. And those claims of sibling rivalry are completely false. We both know I'm the cool one.

(Who am I kidding? Twinity is clearly the better twin. I'm the reject they'd keep in the attic, like on that Simpsons Treehouse of Horror episode.)
